SPECIAL MONTHLY THEMES IN OUR PERSONALIZED CURRICULUM

Our thematic studies are broad and leave room for children to guide the discovery. As children experience the theme in their own way, they gain a personal connection to the knowledge.

Each year, we offer different themes that connect to three main categories:

1. PERSONAL: Experiences in personal day-to-day life
2. NATURE: Experiences in nature and the great outdoors
3. GLOBAL: Experiences around the world with diverse people and places

At the core of all learning is a trusting and loving relationship. LSLC's curriculum is uniquely designed to support endless creative ideas to challenge each child according to his/her interest and developmental level!

Children actively construct knowledge through hands on, multi-sensory experiences.

Activities are open-ended and focus on the WHOLE CHILD! Hence, we provide and encourage activities which are open ended and focus on the WHOLE CHILD!

Each child is unique, has interests and individualized learning goals.

Children develop at varying rates. Therefore, keeping this into consideration, we customize our lesson plans according to our children’s likes, interests, and learning abilities at Little Scholars.

Children learn best when they participate in group and individual age appropriate activities. So keeping this into consideration, Little Scholars Learning Center personalizes its curriculum for children and plan and implement activities in such a way that a child's social-emotional, physical and cognitive growth is interconnected through secured and pleasant experiences by making sure that each child gets quality experience through FUN!

Parents are children's first and most influential teachers in their lives and their involvement is very important... So to encourage that, we invite parents to see their children's academic and social skills every six months and are welcome to give their inputs to the staff.
